Chef José Andrés Receives the Presidential Medal of Freedom

Born in Spain and later becoming a U.S. citizen, José Andrés is celebrated not only for his culinary expertise but also for his commitment to humanitarian causes. In 2010, he founded World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters and during humanitarian crises.
